OSCEOLA — Revelton Distilling Company is one of eight distilleries participating in the Iowa Tourism Office’s new Iowa Distillery Passport program.
The passport, available at traveliowa.com/passport, provides a free digital mobile roadmap to distilleries statewide, complete with curated discounts and deals.
Upon visiting participating locations, users may check in using a unique four-digit pin code available onsite and present their passport to distillery staff to redeem available discounts. The first 100 participants that check-in at six participating distilleries will win a pair of Iowa rocks glasses. (Prizes are limited and the contest will stop once all prizes have been redeemed.)
“This is an outstanding opportunity for our distillery, the people of Southern Iowa as well as tourism for the state of Iowa,” says Rob Taylor, President & Primary Distiller for Revelton.
“We’re delighted to add distilleries to our family of passports,” said Amy Zeigler, state tourism manager for the Iowa Tourism Office. “It’s an additional way to create awareness for Iowa’s distilleries while encouraging people to visit the locations, unlock deals and earn prizes.”
The Iowa Tourism Office, part of the Iowa Economic Development Authority, works closely with community partners, attractions and events, to promote the state’s beautifully vast scenery and unique history.
